Christoph Renhart (born in Graz in 1987) studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, where he has been teaching music theory since 2018. International successes include the «Recommended Work» award for the recording of «Catalogue des Arts et Métiers» at the 66th International Rostrum of Composers, recorded at the ORF musikprotokoll 2018, and the presentation of the generative audiovisual work «Music With Moon» at Sound/Image 2025 in London. Most recently, his chamber opera «Café Europa» received its world premiere at the Festival de Ópera de Óbidos 2025. Recordings of his works have been released on ORF Edition Zeitton, the VMS label and col legno.
