My chamber opera «Café Europa» was premiered in Protugal
The work written in 2023-24 was first performed in Guarda on September 15 by the Orquestra Académica Filarmónica Portuguesa and conducted by Ziva Ploj Persuh. The characters were sung by Mae Heydorn (Europa, mezzo soprano), Harald Hieronymus Hein (Zeus, bass), Antoin Lopez Herrera Kessel (guests/ Orpheus, baritone), Chloé Leruth (Ghost, soprano) and Antonio Signorello (Ghost, tenor). The second performance took place in Santa Maria da Feira on September 16 and the third performance as part of the Óbidos Opera Festival on September 17 under the baton of André Lousada.
